How We Help Children
When the humanitarian crisis in Romania became an international scandal we were the first UK/Romanian charity set up to help expose the devastating conditions of Romanian orphanages. In the 30 years since we’ve continued to support disadvantaged children through the funding of projects focused on education and social support.
Supporting play and education at Glue Club centres
The Glue Clubs are a number of day centres in Romania where children are encouraged to express and learn through a number of recreational and educational activities.
Here the children can safely and openly express themselves through dance, music and more as well as get support with everything from homework to home-life. The day centres help increase teacher’s interest in the educational process as well as help parents of children understand the value of education.

Over 10 years of scholarships for young people
Over 50 people annually benefit from being offered scholarship opportunities, as well as counselling and assistance to support their higher educational journey. They’re not only supported as they learn, they’re given career guidance and personal development programmes to support them with every step.
Following their scholarship they’ll be encouraged to become volunteers themselves to help create sustainable educational growth for the young people of Romania.

We help support our Romanian friends and partner charity with the following on-going projects
