New FSC project for Young people from Bacau!

We are delighted to share the news that the Fundatia de Sprijin Comunitar have launched a Community Support Foundation project aimed at uplifting over 200 young people from rural areas. Through incentives such as an accredited workshops for entrepreneurial skills to creating podcasts with professionals from various fields, the project will help them face the challenges of the job market and become active citizens in their communities.

They will also be recruiting 100 new volunteers who will gain valuable experience and develop the skills that are vital to thrive in society. The project is co-funded by the Bacău County Council through the non-refundable financing program.

Honouring the memory of Dr. John Stephen

Sadly we said goodbye to a special person who impacted many lives across the world. Dr. John Stephen dedicated his years working as a doctor in Romania in the 90s with the Relief Fund for Romania, as well as helping people in other East European countries. His advocacy for simple yet effective remedies greatly benefitted the poorer and remote areas of Romania. A friendly, generous man who will be remembered for his
dedication and kindness. Thank you, rest in peace.
